Yogasara: discover the essence of yoga in the heart of Bristol

Bethan is qualified to teach primary series ashtanga yoga and is studying for the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance teacher training diploma.

She has trained with David Swenson and Shelley Washington at the Yoga Union in Edinburgh and is currently a student at the Life Centre in London.

She began practicing yoga ten years ago having been introduced to ashtanga by Alexandra Lena Duzevic.

She has also studied with John and Lucy Scott, Richard Freeman, Liz Lark and Nancy Gilgoff.

Bethan encourages the learning of postures through personal enquiry, providing tools for people to embody their practice in her classes.

She encourages the safe exploration of personal boundaries and the re-evaluation of physical self and space.

Most of all she hopes to convey the pleasure and lightness of yogic principles and practice and how they can be used to find freedom in body and mind.

She also offers classes at the School of Exceptional Arts in Easton.
