Creative Clowning for Wellbeing
A daylong workshop exploring mindfulness, compassion, creativity and the self through the art of the clown at 10.00am-5.00pm on Saturday 18 September.

Comedy is simply a funny way of being serious
What is it to be a clown? How do we get in touch with our inner clown and how can our inner clown help us to cope with the challenges of everyday life?
In this workshop you will be guided to explore yourself through games and exercises traditionally used in training actors in clowning, alongside meditation and body practices designed to relax and focus the mind connecting it with the physical self.
The day will be guided by Emily and Lydia, who have come together for this collaboration with the intention of sharing the wealth they have both gained from training in clown and combining it with both of their personal interests in holistic wellbeing.
Between them they have experience in clowning, dramatherapy, theatre and body practices.
Find a space to let go of uncertainty and fear in a safe and supportive environment with the sole intention to uncover the joy and fun in everything we do.
This workshop is being run at an introductory rate of only £20 as an exploration of a new idea.
For more information and booking enquiries contact Emily on 07889 996477 or email naturalclowning@gmail.com.
