Yogasara: discover the essence of yoga in the heart of Bristol

For all women who want to nurture, nourish and honour their womb life and cycles. Pregnant women are especially and particularly welcome. Menstruating, pre-menstrual and peri-menopausal women warmly invited.

Perhaps you are seeking to conceive, and would like to optimise our womb’s well-being? Perhaps you are in your moon-time and would like to enjoy a class where the teacher asks you how you are, listens to what you say, and then teaches practices that responds to how you or your womb feel this morning?

Women of all ages are welcome, whether you are complete beginners or super-experienced yoginis. In fact, any woman who would like a feminine, nourishing and fluid practice with elegant movement flows, delicious breath work and deep healing relaxation is invited to join her sisters for this women-only class. Practising yoga during pregnancy can help cultivate physical and emotional strength and stamina as well as that all-important flexibility. Sharing the experience of pregnancy in a supportive group environment can also be of great value to expectant mothers.

Pregnancy yoga includes postures specifically chosen to help with common prenatal symptoms as well as labour and delivery. It can also facilitate natural childbirth and enable a more enjoyable experience of pregnancy.
