Yogasara: discover the essence of yoga in the heart of Bristol

Sarah is accredited to teach by the Yoga Alliance and is a registered general nurse specialising in nutrition and substance addiction.

She also holds diplomas in reflexology and Indian head massage.

Sarah has been teaching yoga for two years at Prema Arts Centre and Stepps treatment centre in Gloucestershire and as part of Ya’Acov and Susannah Darling Khan’s School of Movement Medicine in Devon.

Sarah is a mother, a dancer and a lover of life. Her teaching is inspired by ashtanga vinyasa, anusara yoga and her dance and movement practice.

She has studied with many inspiring teachers including ashtanga yoga founder Pattabhi Jois and Anusara yoga founder John Friend as well as David Swenson, Nancy Gilgoff, Brian Cooper, Sean Corne and Bridget Woods-Kramer.

Sarah is passionate about the many benefits yoga has brought her and is dedicated to her own practice.

She co-founded Yogasara with Chris Gladwell to share her enthusiasm for yoga and her commitment to the creation of a community yoga space.

Her belief is that practicing yoga cultivates vital somatic intelligence which can help us take more complete responsibility for our own lives while living in greater harmony with others and the environment.

Metamorphosis 2: The Inner Mandala

A weekend workshop with Chris Gladwell, Juan Gabriel Gutierrez and Sarah Harlow.

10.00am-5.00pm Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January

What in us is known and what is unknown or unconscious?

We will explore the contents and context of mind and feeling, making our relationship with these intimate and important aspects of our experience available for transformation.

As we engage with this mandala we begin to liberate our deeper nature from fixation to discover the relationship between attachment, thinking, feeling and our core life energy.

Metamorphosis offers a complete transformation at the seat of consciousness. The view moves from limited self and its neurotic dance of separation towards the vastness of truth. The practices support this insight and the sublime presence as essence that is the goal.

All welcome. Please bring any refreshments you may need.

£60 for the weekend. Pre-book if possible: please contact the studio for more details.

Please get in touch with us on 07789 501884 or email to find out more about any of our classes, courses, workshops or events.
