FAQs

Can I book on to a class?
Due to our community interest structure, payment is taken directly by the teacher and so we do not offer online booking for classes. Please just drop-in, the studio can accommodate 35 mats maximum – there will be a space for you!

How do I pay for classes
Please bring cash/cheque with you for drop-in classes or arrange a bank transfer with the teacher. You can also arrange other monthly deals with our Partner Move GB. NB- Not all teachers classes are available on MGB (check with individual teachers).

Do I need to bring my own mat to the studio?
Manduka Pro mats and all the equipment you need are provided at the studio, you just need to bring yourself!

What should I wear for a yoga class?
Wear something comfortable that you can move easily in, leggings/loose trousers and a t-shirt or vest top will be absolutely fine and we practice in bare feet.

I am new to yoga, which classes would be suitable for me?
We offer a specific Beginners Yoga course on Thursdays at 6pm and 7.30pm. All other classes are mixed level, some more dynamic than others! We encourage you to drop into a few and get a sense of what works for you. All teachers offer appropriate modifications for beginners, and you are very welcome to take breaks when you need to and go at your own pace. It’s always worth letting the teacher know when you arrive that you’re a beginner, don’t worry you won’t be singled out, it’s just useful for the teacher to know.

Do you have a changing room/toilets?
Yes we have a changing area with a small changing room which offers privacy. Toilets are located just outside the back door of the studio.
