A long time ago, I thought that yoga was just about making shapes – getting toned arms and wearing pretty leggings! But I have discovered so much more depth to yoga – a yoga that excites, fascinates and envelopes my heart.
I was inspired to train as a yoga teacher because I had this deep sense of there being more – more to love and to learn and to know and to give… I trained with Yogasara and have been inspired by Christopher Gladwell and Sarah Harlow’s teaching of the Yogasara Krama Vinyasa Tantra method, as well as their passion and dedication to teach yoga authentically.
Becoming a yoga teacher has been one of my greatest adventures – as well as motherhood! Both have made me feel braver, stronger, more beautiful and more authentic. Practising yoga has given me permission to be myself and realise that my sensitivities and unique ways are in fact my gift, rather than my downfalls.
When I get on my yoga mat – my creativity and dreams come alive! I can move freely and be exactly as I am – accepting and embracing every part of me as it is.
Yoga is a language of love. It is my language of love! And I am excited to share this with you, with the wild, with the world.
Though your destination is not yet clear
You can trust the promise of this opening;
Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning
That is at one with your life’s desire.
Awaken your spirit to adventure;
Hold nothing back, learn to find ease in risk;
Soon you will be home in a new rhythm,
For your soul senses the world that awaits you.
New Beginnings, John O’Donohue.
