I have been practising yoga since 2006. Initially, as a way to combat back pain, I soon realised yoga has the potential to go much deeper than making shapes and stretching. Since qualifying as a teacher at Yoga Vidya Gurukul, India in 2014 and then the Advanced Teacher Training 500hr with Yogasara, I have experienced how all aspects of my life have woven themselves into my yoga practice and vice versa. I have practised various types of yoga but really found my home with classes that encourage creativity, compassion and appreciation of the diversity of the human body.
For me, yoga is a never-ending journey of learning. It has the power to change not only our relationship with ourselves, but with everything and everyone around us. This is what I love about yoga and feel privileged to share and develop in my classes as a teacher.
