I started practising yoga in 2003 and met my teacher, Christopher Gladwell the following year. Although my practice is rooted in the Ashtanga system, as a Physiotherapist of over 15 years my practice and teaching has a strong focus on helpful alignment and biomechanics, as a mother to young twins, my practice
has also become more creative and playful. Classes will always include stillness practices or meditation and relaxation- I feel that these are essential to most people in our culture of busy lives, not just exhausted parents!
My Yoga practice has been my sanctuary during stressful times and events in my life, it has brought me so much joy and has challenged me on many levels. My life is filled with more gratitude and love from the teachings I have been blessed to receive. I hope that through my classes you can find out the profound effects Yoga can have on your life too.
