Terms and Conditions

Course Cancellation

£550 of your full payment will be the deposit required to confirm your course place and is non-refundable at anytime.

If you pay in full and cancel at least 8 weeks prior to the start date of the course, we will refund the full course price minus the non-refundable deposit and an additional admin charge of £50.

We are unable to offer you a refund for cancellations less than 8 weeks prior to the start of the course, or if you need to leave the course for any reason once the course has started, and in these circumstances you are contractually obliged for any outstanding fees.

Deferment

You can defer to another course intake. To confirm your place on the course you are deferring to (the ‘new course’), we charge a deferment fee of £500, payable at least 8 weeks prior to the start of the new course. Any outstanding course fees would then be payable during the new course. If paying by monthly instalments, then a similar arrangement will apply. If for any reason the deferment fee is not paid, then you are cancelling your course place, and the above cancellation policy will apply.

In the difficult circumstances of you sustaining a serious injury or prolonged ill health with a non pre-existing condition, Yogasara Training will support you and work out the best way for you to continue the course. You may still attend sessions and either adjust poses or just observe the classes. If you are unable to continue the training after consultation with a fully qualified medical practitioner we will defer the remaining modules to another course intake, but cannot offer a full or partial refund. In this circumstance we will not charge a deferment fee.

Changes to Course Delivery

In exceptional circumstances where access to the studio is restricted, due to circumstances such as extreme weather, act of God, or pandemic; Yogasara Training will aim to continue the course. Any affected training modules or courses will be delivered in an online format, and the structure and type of content delivered may be adapted if necessary for this format. Refunds will not be available in these circumstances.

Payment Requirements

After payment of the deposit, payment of the remaining course fees will be monthly by direct debit. Yogasara will send invoices each month and payment will be taken from your bank account automatically. A request will be sent out prior to the course to complete a direct debit mandate for this purpose.

Payment of the full course fees is required before a teaching certificate can be issued.

Missed Modules on the Course

To meet Yoga Alliance Professionals criteria for minimum hours on teacher trainings, if you miss more than one weekend (or equivalent) of contact hours, these module(s) will need to be re-arranged and completed on one of our future teacher training courses. If you need to repeat a weekend the cost is £180 per weekend (£90 per day).

Late Assessments

There are scheduled dates for the final teaching assessment as per the timetable, which you will receive prior to the start of the course. We dedicate one weekend of the course to assessments, and also schedule in two additional assessment days approximately a few months after the course has ended. If you require a second assessment, outside of the scheduled assessment dates, by having a Yogasara teacher attend your public or private yoga class, this will incur an additional assessment fee of £120 + travel expenses if required.
