Clare Chislett
Integrative, Person Centred Counsellor
Hello and thank you for visiting my page.
Taking the first step towards change can be hard, and I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth and without judgement. I offer a safe, supportive space to slow down, make sense of your thoughts and emotions, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
My approach is caring, flexible and empathetic, shaped by my training and by the many perspectives I’ve gained through my own life, including parenting and step‑parenting.
I support people through a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, self‑criticism, rumination, self‑abandonment and boarding school syndrome. I also work with life transitions, relationship difficulties, low self‑esteem, grief, stress and overwhelm, perfectionism, people‑pleasing, and feeling stuck or disconnected.
I work in an integrative, person‑centred way, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt and Internal Family Systems which I adapt to suit each client’s needs.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by its ethical framework, including monthly supervision and continued professional development.
