Graina Pedersen

Craniosacral Therapist & Solution Focus Practitioner

Qualified biodynamic craniosacral therapist and wellbeing coach using solution focused and trauma informed practices. Integration of mind/body modalities can be profoundly transformative.

I am compassionate, accepting, and curious, with an unwavering belief in my client’s abilities and potential. Just as plants orient towards the sun, we too orient towards health and vitality, given the right environment.

My craniosacral practice allows me to connect with clients on a deep energetic level using biodynamics. This intuitive way of working with the whole-body involves gentle touch (over clothing) while maintaining a meditative presence, allowing my clients to feel safely held and witnessed as we enter a relational space where deep healing unfolds. Healing occurs without the need for understanding, analysing, or ‘doing’. Honouring our state of simply ‘being’ has a profound impact on the body’s innate ability to balance, restore, and heal itself.

Suitable for all ages and health circumstances, including birth patterns, injury, illness, trauma, and all the many stresses and strains of life.

Whilst solution focus practice differs vastly in presentation with craniosacral therapy, they are embedded with similar principles and complement each other well. They are both client-led, with the assumption that change occurs from within. There is an emphasis on health rather than illness, focusing on what is desired rather than what is not. Helping to break negative thought patterns, recognise existing strengths and build on inner resources. There is light through the cracks, so let’s focus on the light until we no longer see imperfections.

I work with many teenagers and young adults within education settings, supporting their mental health. I am passionate about helping them navigate some of the complexities of life and in particular the effects of ‘educational trauma’.

Discounts available for students, teachers, and teaching assistants.

I am a registered member of CSTA and IASTI professional bodies, certified with MHFA England, and DBS checked. I have significant training in understanding ADHD and Autism.
