Morning Flow Yoga

I initially studied architecture and have always been fascinated by structures and systems, as I have got older I am increasingly drawn to the architecture of the human body and how our internal and external relationship with it can shape our experience of life.

Like most I heard about Yoga as a great way to calm the mind and nervous system. After practising regularly and experiencing yogsara teaching, arriving at my mat quickly became a deep spiritual journey and emotionally enriching process, this coupled with the beautiful community I was starting to integrate within, felt like a sense of coming home into my own body and soul and I was hooked.

This inspired me to do the Yogasara teacher training, which was a transformative year, where I developed my practice, my role and responsibilities as a teacher, tantric philosophical understanding and critical thought of what it means to teach yoga in the West. After Yogasara YTT, I travelled to India, where I studied at Kashish Yoga school for a 300hr Advanced teacher training in multi-style Yoga and 100hr CPD in teaching SUP and Aerial Yoga.

During my classes I offer a playful and challenging class for all yogic abilities, where I draw on using breathwork, meditation and guided and intuitive asana. There will be elements of flow and elements working on deeper asana and working towards peak poses. I believe that Yoga is a breath-body dance and I encourage the essence of Vinyasa throughout classes, the origin of the word can be translated as – ‘nyasa’ to place & ‘vin’ in special way.
