Krama Vinyasa

Hello, I’m Jos. I’ve been practicing Yoga for about 4 years now and have completed two teacher trainings. Yoga has helped me find balance and stillness in my life. I’m particularly interested in Yogic philosophy and hope to weave some of the beautiful insights of this philosophy into my classes.

In my late teens and early 20s, I was drawn to Eastern philosophy as a way of making sense of the world and my place in it. A lot of Eastern philosophy seemed to provide an explanation for many of the problems in our atomised, technological and capitalist societies. It seemed to show me why many people suffer from profound loneliness and why so many of us lack meaning and purpose in our lives.

After a lot of passionate learning, the physical practice of Yoga seemed like a natural progression. Through my classes, I hope to share my learning and experience in a way which is friendly and authentic. I believe Yoga and Yogic philosophy can help bring about meaningful change in the world. I hope, even if on a very small scale, to contribute to this meaningful change.
